Send a text email

1) Login to your iMax web site.

2) Click the "Members" button at the top of the screen.

3) Click the "Email Members" link.

4) Confirm that the your name in the "From Name" field is how you want your name to appear in the "From" or "Sender" field in someone's mailbox when they receive your email. Adjust it if necessary.

5) You have 2 choices in determining the recipients for your email. You can either choose all or specific members from the list of your members under "Select Members." To select all members, click the "Check All" link. To choose specific members, scroll through the list of members and check off the box for each member you wish to send the email to. Your other option is to enter email addresses in the "Or Enter Recipients" field.

6) Enter a subject line for your email in the "Subject" field.

7) Type your email in the "Text Message" field.

8) Leave the "HTML Message" field blank.

9) Click the "Submit" button to email all selected members.

Send a professional looking HTML email

Here's how to use our HTML email tool to send your members an HTML email you have designed *:

1) Login to your iMax web site.

2) Click the "Members" button at the top of the screen.

3) Click the "Email Members" link.

4) Paste your HTML code into the box labeled, "HTML Message."

5) Confirm that the your name in the "From Name" field is how you want your name to appear in the "From" or "Sender" field in someone's mailbox when they receive your email. Adjust it if necessary.

8) We recommend that you also include a text version of your HTML email. Some of your members may have their email accounts set up to only read text emails and will therefore not be able to read your HTML email. One way of doing this is to view your HTML email in a web browser and simply copy and paste the text into the "Text Message" field in the iMax HTML Email tool. Another way is to create a word processing document with nothing but the text, then copy and paste it into the "Text Message" field.

9) Click the "Submit" button to email all selected members.

Postlets.com provides you with the HTML code for your flyer. You would then copy and paste this HTML code into the new iMax HTML email tool.
