How do I stop my web browser from printing extra information in the header and footer area? If you are using Internet Explorer: 1. Click the "File" menu at the top of the browser. Then choose "Page Setup." 2. In the "Headers and Footers" section, select all text that is currently in the field for "Header" and delete the text so the field is empty. 3.
