1. Login to your website and click the "Website" button located at the top of the screen.

2. Click "My Domains."

3. On the "Domain Manager" screen, select the "Add / Transfer a Domain" button.

4. On the next screen, "Add a Domain Step 1: Find a Domain," enter the domain name you are interested in registering and click the "Search" button.

5. iMaxWebSolutions runs a search to see if the domain name is available. If the domain name is taken, the WHOIS record for that domain is displayed.

6. Otherwise, the next screen, "Add a Domain: Step 2: Register Your New Domain," will inform you that the domain is available. Press the "Register" button.

7. On "Step 3: Confirm Registration," you will see three fields listed. In the "Domain" field, check to make sure the domain name you entered is the one you want to register. Make sure there are no typos as well. The other 2 fields "Site Name" and "Site Email Address" should contain the default information for your website account. If everything looks OK, press the "Confirm" button. Otherwise, click "Return" to make corrections.

8. You will receive an email notification when your domain registration has been successfully completed.

How do I transfer a domain I have registered elsewhere to iMaxWebSolutions?

1. Login to your website and click the "Website" button located at the top of the screen.

2. Click "My Domains."

3. Click the "Add / Transfer a Domain" button.

4. On the screen, "Add a Domain Step 1: Find a Domain," enter the domain name you are interested in registering and click the "Search" button. iMaxWebSolutions runs a search to determine if the domain is available and registered. In this case, it should be registered (to you).

5. On the screen entitled, "Add a Domain Step 2: Transfer an Existing Domain," you will see the message: "If you own this domain, click the "Transfer" button to transfer it to your iMaxWebSolutions account." The ownership data for the domain displays at the bottom of the page.

6. Click the "Transfer" button.

7. On the page "Add a Domain: Step 3: Confirm Transfer," to check the accuracy of several fields:

   A. Most importantly, make sure the domain you wish to transfer is entered correctly.

   B. Make sure the "Site email address" matches the email address the subscriber uses
   to login to their iMaxWebSolutions account and is a working email address.

   C. Make sure "Transfer Domain to iMaxWebSolutions registrar is selected."

8. Once you have checked everything for accuracy, click the "Confirm" button.

9. You will receive an email from our registrar telling you that the transfer request has been sent to your current registrar.

10. You will then receive an email from your current registrar telling you that a transfer has been requested. Your current registrar will ask you to approve the transfer. (you will need to approve the transfer for the process to continue)

11. Finally, you will receive a transfer confirmation email from our domain registrar telling you the transfer has been successfully completed.

12. Forward this transfer confirmation email to us at domains@imaxwebsolutions.com.
