Why is it important for me to add the "How to Use My Site" link to my sidebar? Your members don't have access to the help system you are currently using. The information provided on the "How to Use My Site" page is their reference resource in learning how to use your web site. So if you don't add the link to your page, they will have no help information available to them. Additionally, when iMaxWebSolutions makes changes to our product, we update this page with the most current information. How do I add the "How to Use My Site" link to my sidebar? 1) Login. 2) Click the "Web Site" button. 3) Select "Sidebar." 4) Select a location on your sidebar where you would like to place the link. 5) Click into the drop down menu (reads "Select New Section to Display") at the location you want to place the link. 6) Select, under "LINK TO," "How to Use My Site Page." (located at the very bottom) 7) Click the "Add" button. 8) Use the "Custom Section Editor" to make your link look like the rest of your links. (If you have any trouble, click the "Edit" button for a different link and look at the color and font settings) 9) Click the "Save Changes" button and then the "Return" button. |
